Visiting Researcher
Isabel Rewick is a Visiting Researcher at ICCCAD and is researching non-economic Loss and Damage ahead of COP28. She recently graduated from Duke University in North Carolina, USA where she studied Public Policy and Environmental Sciences and Policy. While completing her Bachelor’s egree, she participated in Duke’s UN Climate Change Negotiations Practicum where she studied international climate agreements and focused on Loss and Damage. She attended COP27 as a member of this Practicum and assisted the World Resources Institute in preparation for and during COP27 by analyzing progress on Loss and Damage at the Conference. As a Visiting Researcher, she is looking forward to supporting ICCCAD’s engagement in the Allied for Climate Transformation by 2025 consortium (ACT2025) in advance of COP28.
