Research Officer
Nishat Tasnim has been working as a Research Officer at the International Centre for Climate Change and Development (ICCCAD) since December, 2023. But, she has been a part of this organization since her undergraduate days, participating in the organization’s various youth mentorship programs – as a youth participant, mentor, and also as a panelist. Before joining ICCCAD she has worked for Asian Development Bank, Australian Research Council, Gross International Nature (GIN), and etc.
Nishat has always wanted to be a Development Worker, and chose to be an Environmentalist as she realized this area needs more reformer. And so, she did her Bachelors in Environmental Management from the North South University. While still a freshman she realized her interest lies in exploratory research which prompted her to do a research internship at the Bangladesh Centre for Advanced Studies (BCAS).
In the long run, she aspires to uplift the climate vulnerable people with her rightful contribution to policy design, reform and implementation
