DESCRIPTION:The International Centre for Climate Change and Development (ICCCAD) is hosting another Climate Youth Retreat for 2018!!\nThe Climate Youth Retreat is a innovative program that engages students to really and deeply engage with key climate change issues in the country. This year’s focus will be climate change and food security\, particularly in the context of future scenario planning.\nIt will be part of a project with the University of Oxford\, Oxfam GB and Oxfam BD\, titled “Zero Hunger\, Zero Emissions”\, which uses scenarios building methodology to determine whether or not Bangladesh can both lower emissions and increase food security (beyond just calorie count) in the distant future. \n\n\n\nProgram Details\n– The program will be held over three days (from the evening of Saturday\, September 1st to the afternoon of Tuesday\, September 4th 2018)\n-It will be held at a venue in Savar (tbd)\n– Participants will stay overnight at the venue for the duration of the retreat\n– Accommodation\, meals and travel to and from the site will be covered\n– The program will be in Bangla and English\n– Applicants need to be currently enrolled in an university in Bangladesh\n– Apply before August 16th 2018\nIf you have any questions\, feel free to contact ICCCAD staff Rupita Joyee (rupita.joyee21@gmail.com)
