DESCRIPTION:RISE (Rethink and Innovate for a Sustainable Environment) is an intensive Youth Mentorship Programme focusing on climate change and project management. This programme is aimed at teaching current university students the basics of project management in terms of climate change. This programme is part of the Climate Finance Transparency Mechanism (CFTM) project under the PROKAS programme of British Council Bangladesh. Last year we organised a Youth Retreat under the CFTM project phase I which brought 20 university students from all over Bangladesh. They learned about the basics of climate change\, how to integrate different socio-economic aspects to it and how can young people be involved in climate change action.
